Wolfit Lecture - Claire Bloom In conversation with Richard Digby Day
The Sir Donald Wolfit Charitable Trust continues to celebrate its 30th anniversary with a talk by Claire Bloom. Claire Bloom has been a star of the West End and Broadway stage for over sixty years in a series of new and classical plays. Her long film career starring opposite Chaplin, Burton, Olivier and many others includes Limelight, The Brothers Karamazov, Richard III and The Spy Who Came In From The Cold. Television includes her great performance as Lady Marchmain in Brideshead Revisited and recently Doc Martin. Here she will be in conversation with her friend Richard Digby Day remembering her astonishing career.
