National Lottery - Newark Castle Hard Hat Tour

To join this special tour, please bring a National Lottery ticket or Scratchcard (physical or digital), as you’ll be asked to show it on entry. Join us for a behind-the-scenes look at the exciting Gatehouse Project at Newark Castle. As part of the ongoing project, this guided tour offers a unique opportunity to explore the construction zone and learn about the techniques being used to preserve the castle’s historic fabric, as well as the vision for the completed project. Please arrive 10 minutes early to allow time for a safety briefing and to be fitted with PPE, including hard hat and high-vis vest. Please wear sturdy closed-toe shoes. Our plans for the castle include making it more accessible for everyone. However, as this is still an active building site, the tour is not suitable for those with physical access requirements at this time. There are only 20 places available and booking is essential. The Tour is open to over-18s only.
