Little Mermaid (Castle)

Part of our Palace at the Castle series, taking place in Newark Castle grounds. Brand new for 2023, Gary Starr Creative proudly presents a brand new Pantomime adaptation of the Hans Christian Andersen classic story, The Little Mermaid. Ariel longs to see the other world and after a chance encounter with a human sailor she makes a deal with the Sea Witch to finally be able to experience the magical world on land. However not everything is as it first appears and Ariel is faced with the ultimate choice of love and sacrifice… A magical adventure full of comedy, song, dance and a large dash of Pantomime fun that’s suitable for the whole family! Please bring your own blankets to sit on. Be aware that those bringing seats may be asked to sit further back so as not to block views. Food and drink may be brought with you but no alcohol is permitted.
