The Palace Theatre is located just a few minutes’ walk from Newark town centre at 14 Appletongate, Newark, Notts. To find the theatre using SATNAV, our postcode is NG24 1JY.
There is limited free parking on street outside the theatre after 6pm and two pay and display car parks located less than 5 minutes away (Appletongate, NG24 1JR and London Road, NG24 1TN). For evening shows, parking at both of these is £1 after 6pm.
The Theatre is also just a short walk from Newark North Gate and Newark Castle train stations and Newark Bus Station.
Online bookings are subject to a £1 per transaction fee. For an additional £1, your tickets can be posted to you.
Where available, concessions may apply to children (under 16), senior citizens, families, disabled people, registered unemployed, Palace Theatre Members and groups. Not all discounts apply to all shows.
Babies under 12 months go free but most hold a valid ticket.
Special offers do not apply to previously purchased tickets.
Tickets are not refundable and may not be exchanged.
Photography, recording and the use of mobile phones are not permitted in the auditorium and guests are not permitted to bring in their own refreshments. Management reserves the right to refuse entry.

There is a street level entrance to the venue and a lift offering access to the Stalls level. This area of the Theatre has four dedicated wheelchair spaces with adjacent companion seats and there is a disabled toilet located in the auditorium corridor. Please note that while there is a lift to the upper floor, there are further steps up to the Circle and no handrail on the steps within the Circle. The auditorium is fitted with an infra-red hearing loop and guide dogs are welcome but please do let us know if you are bringing one. Seats in the auditorium are approximately 43cm wide and 43cm deep and wheelchair spaces are 70cm wide with a maximum depth for chair and occupant of 120cm.
Pushchairs may be left in the Box Office or bar area.
Our Essential Companion Scheme provides access to one free ticket for an essential companion attending a performance with a scheme member. Please speak to Box Office for more information and to join the scheme.
